Jan Toufar (Jan T.)
Based in Verbier, Switzerland.
Jan is the Operations Manager for SnowElite and a SnowElite Collective trainer, teaching, training, and coaching clients and instructors across skiing and telemark, both on piste and off piste. His focus includes private lessons, camps, clinics, and instructor development, with an approach built around clear communication, individual goals, and long term progression.
Originally from Czechia, Jan has lived in Switzerland since 2008 and has also worked in New Zealand. He has lived in the Philippines, Turkey, Albania, and Ghana, experiences that have shaped an adaptable and personal approach to working with people from different backgrounds, abilities, and expectations.
He works with skiers who want to build confidence, improve technique, explore new terrain, or continue developing at a higher level. His teaching, training, and coaching combine careful observation and technical understanding with a strong focus on movement, balance, control, and flow. Every session is shaped around the individual, with the goal of creating lasting progress while keeping skiing enjoyable, purposeful, and personal.
